For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a writer. I enjoyed photography, but it wasn’t until a digital photography class in college that I picked up my first SLR and fell in love. I shifted over to photography as my medium of choice and started a daily photoblog. As I fall deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole of photography, I find myself thinking a fair bit about it, which in turn makes me want to write about it. Enter: Somewhat Fuzzy, a blog of my adventures in photography and what I’m learning from them.
25-year-old female photographer Devon Rowland spends most of her time photographing newborns–when she’s not photographing fire performances, or weddings, or burlesque shows, or cities, or whatever other challenges she can cook up. Occasionally you’ll find her work in a gallery, but Devon finds the biggest reward comes from images hung on a happy client’s walls, providing memories of special people and times in their life.
Devon’s photography takes on a Clark Kent/Superman aspect, represented by Devon Rowland Photography and Silly Human Tricks Photography. An avid social media addict, you can also find Devon Rowland Photography and Silly Human Tricks on facebook, and follow her on Twitter. As if that’s not enough, you can also check out damneardaily, a photoblog with images posted as near to daily as Devon can manage.
